Schafer Batters Kinsale for 5 Hits Monday, August 22nd , 2050 LetterKenny catcher Karl Schafer had a day to remember, 5-for-6 against the Kinsale Fisherman at Blue Raiders Ballpark as the Irish picked up a win, 13-6. "He was patient up there," LetterKenny skipper Juan Daddi told the press after the game. "I like the way he waited for his pitch and wasn't overly aggressive. Schafer has a tendency to chase bad balls sometimes." Karl Schafer singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, hit a three-run home run off Jared Jordan in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and struck out in the 8th.
