Year Ends for John Parr in Thousand Oaks

John Parr has to call it a season. The Thousand Oaks Rabbits starting pitcher sustained a season-ending injury against the Sarasota Sweeties and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Parr was injured while throwing a pitch. His doctors diagnosed it as a torn ulnar collateral ligament and stated that he would not be able to play for 11-12 months.
On the year, Parr has worked 109 innings with 87 strikeouts en route to a 4-6 record and 3.63 ERA.
