Phoenix 's Nick Castillo Injured Monday, July 17th , 2051 When Phoenix reliever Nick Castillo was taken out of the game, the crowd at the Falcons-Sweeties game went silent as they could tell that it was a serious injury. That was confirmed today by doctors when they revealed that Castillo had sustained a torn ulnar collateral ligament and will be out for about 11-12 months. So far this season, Castillo has a 0-2 won-lost record with 2 saves. He has made 15 relief appearances, logged 34 innings and fanned 22 batters while fashioning a 6.09 ERA and allowing the opposition a .303 batting average. |
