Round 2 Goes the Distance, Ottawa Prevails Friday, October 4th , 2047 It took a while, but the Ottawa Lynx finally disposed of the Philadelphia Avalanche 5-2 in the series clincher at Avalanche Ballpark. Winning the finale gave the Lynx the series, 4-3. They will now advance to the Round 3. The Most Valuable Player Award went to Ottawa second baseman Kyle Gibbons. He batted .429 in the series, collecting 6 RBIs and scoring 7 runs. The Ottawa Lynx will play against the Nephi Threshers in the next round.
