Nephi Sweeps into the Round 3 Monday, September 30th , 2047 It's a sweet sweep for the Nephi Threshers and they have won the Round 2. The Thousand Oaks Rabbits were not able to keep pace with the Threshers and dropped the series in short order, losing, 10-1, in the deciding game. "This wasn't really the effort we hoped for," said Thousand Oaks manager Mario Contreras. It's now on to the Round 3 for Nephi after their 4-0 series win. Leading the way for the winners was center fielder Jerry Neff, who was named MVP. For the series, Neff hit .556 with a .556 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, drove in 3 RBI and scored 4 runs. The Nephi Threshers don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Philadelphia Avalanche - Ottawa Lynx series. Ottawa leads the series 2 games to 1.
