SP David Lieb Hurt Monday, September 30th , 2047 Playoff hopes of Threshers player David Lieb have been dealt a blow today after tests revealed the starting pitcher suffered a damaged elbow ligament throwing a pitch in today's game against Thousand Oaks Rabbits. Lieb is expected to miss up to 12 months, effectively ruling him out of the playoffs. In 26 starts this season, Lieb has rung up a 11-5 record and a 2.69 ERA. |
