Lynx Win Round 1 Tuesday, September 24th , 2047 The Ottawa Lynx and Portland Pickles held nothing back in an entertaining Round 1 that went the distance. In the end, it will be Ottawa advancing to the Round 2, after a 10-1 triumph in the final game at Walker Stadium, to wrap up the series 4-3. The Lynx players celebrated jubilantly in their clubhouse after the game, while the scene was one of dismay on the opposing side for the Pickles. Kyle Gibbons was named series MVP for Ottawa. For the series, Gibbons hit .457 with a .457 on-base percentage. He had 2 home runs, drove in 11 RBI and scored 6 runs. The Ottawa Lynx will play against the Philadelphia Avalanche in the next round.
