Hit Streak Now at 20 for Bolger Friday, July 7th , 2051 Vince Bolger's bat has been smoking lately, and it continued today as he went 3-for-5 in his team's 2-1 triumph over the Eugene Exploding Whales at Whales Field. The 26-year-old right fielder has now hit safely in 20 consecutive games for the Fisherman. Vince Bolger flied out in the 2nd, grounded out in the 4th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 8th and singled in the 10th. Bolger is batting .339 this year with 21 home runs, 57 RBIs and 51 runs scored. He has 99 hits in 292 at-bats. |
