Fisherman McKinney Dominates Coney Dogs Wednesday, September 11th , 2047 It wasn't easy but Eric McKinney made it look that way. McKinney silenced the Flint Coney Dogs, 8-0, in a Kinsale Fisherman triumph at Ballpark of Flint. Despite the appearance of dominance, McKinney said that he felt like he was struggling all game. He gave up 1 walk and 5 hits. "It didn't feel quite right today, but I made the decision to bear down and work through it," he said. "I made a few mistakes but it goes to show what you can do with grit and not much else." To date McKinney is 14-8 in 29 starts with a 2.79 ERA and has 132 strikeouts in 177.1 innings. View Boxscore |
