Wild Card Clinched by Austin Saturday, September 7th , 2047 Pedro Gonzalez of the Austin Toros said fighting for a playoff spot is an "absolute grind" in CBD Triple A. The grind is now over, as the Toros have captured a wild card berth. "It's a weight off our shoulders and now we can exhale," said the catcher. "It's hard to describe how much effort and focus goes into this." Team manager Harry Dohmen believes his club has something to prove and they are looking forward to the postseason. |
