July's #1 Hurler Announced: Martinez Saturday, August 1st , 2048 In July Rochester starter Alex Martinez mystified CBD Triple A hitters and carried off the Pitcher of the Month honors by chalking up a 5-0 record in 6 starts. The 30-year-old Martinez added 34 strikeouts in 43 innings and 13 walks to his season record and compiled a 2.93 ERA. Opposing batters hit .235 against him.
