Rowdy Players Suspended by League Tuesday, July 21st , 2048 Baseball officials have suspended two players for "inappropriate and aggressive conduct" in yesterday's Portland-Kinsale contest at Blue Raiders Ballpark. The Pickles Nick Sutherland and the Fisherman George Ritchie will have to sit out 2 and 6 games respectively for their parts in the brawl. This season, Sutherland has crafted a 1-4 mark with a 6.75 ERA in 40 innings. Opposing clubs are batting .327 against him and he has 27 strikeouts. To date this season, Ritchie sports a 11-3 mark with a 2.38 ERA in 18 starting assignments. He has held the opposition to a .249 batting average and has 99 strikeouts in 132.1 innings. |
