Bad News for Austin, Delgado Injured Monday, July 20th , 2048 The season is ending on a bad note for Miguel Delgado, starting pitcher for the Austin Toros. It was announced today that he will miss the rest of the season because of injury. Delgado was hurt against the Detroit Tigers while throwing a pitch. He suffered a damaged elbow ligament and will be out for at least 13-14 months. Delgado has fashioned a 4-7 mark for the season, 4.98 ERA and thrown 94 innings in 17 starts. Opposing clubs are batting .299 against him. |
