Floyd on Fire: 5-for-5 for Phoenix Thursday, April 25th , 2052 It was a high-five day for Adrian Floyd, at least for a while. The Phoenix catcher got plenty of them from his teammates when he reached the five-hit milestone during today's game against the Flint Coney Dogs, but they were in short supply at the end, as Flint won the game, 7-6. Floyd finished with an impressive 5-for-5 line, but the Falcons couldn't hold off the Coney Dogs. "Adrian was hitting everything," said Falcons manager Elijah Paysinger. "It's too bad the other guys couldn't rise to the occasion." Adrian Floyd doubled in the 2nd, doubled in the 4th, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
