Webber Runs Hit String to 20 Straight Games Sunday, July 19th , 2048 The Reno Copper Kings fell to the Ho Chi Minh City Tigers in Saigon Ballpark, even as 22-year-old left fielder James Webber upped his consecutive-game hitting streak to 20 games. Webber finished with 2 hits in 3 at-bats, but could not stop the Copper Kings from dropping the 7-0 decision. "Yeah, I kept my streak going, but it would have been better to come away with a win," said Webber. James Webber singled in the 1st, walked in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th and singled in the 8th.
