Huff Blisters Detroit Friday, July 17th , 2048 5 hits in a game is a rare thing, but Nephi's Jason Huff made it happen against the Tigers. Everything came together at the plate for the 25-year-old center fielder as he collected 5 hits in 5 at-bats -- and helped the Threshers triumph, 8-3, at Tigers Ballpark. "I'm just out there to try and help the team win," Huff said after the game, "I had some real good at-bats. I made good, solid contact and luckily no one caught 'em." Jason Huff singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 8th.
