Garcia Superb Against Ho Chi Minh City Tuesday, July 7th , 2048 Goose eggs were the order of the day for the Ho Chi Minh City Tigers as starter Alex Garcia shut them out, 7-0, at Avalanche Ballpark. The Philadelphia pitcher struck out 6 and walked 0 while allowing 6 hits. "Garcia was good but he wasn't flawless," Ho Chi Minh City manager Aaron Lazier said. "We had a few opportunities to make something happen and we didn't do it. Not to take anything away from Philadelphia, but this is on us." His stats sheet for the year shows Garcia has managed to hold opponents to a .224 average in no relief appearances, while putting up 4-1 record with 30 strikeouts and 13 walks in 60.1 innings.
