Star of the Week Named in CAAA Monday, June 5th , 2051 Steve Davis demonstrated his potential to be a star in the game last week and today he took home the CBD Triple A Player of the Week Award. The Portland first baseman wreaked havoc on opposing pitchers last week, pounding them for a .478 average (11-for-23) with 2 home runs and 9 RBIs on his way to claiming the honor. Davis has collected 75 hits for the Pickles this year, 11 of them home runs. He has also netted 36 RBIs and scored 42 runs while batting .357. |
