Portland-Ho Chi Minh City Fight Results in Suspensions Saturday, May 20th , 2051 D.J. Johnson of Portland and Alex Diaz of Ho Chi Minh City were the main participants in a recent bench-clearing brawl and today the league handed out its punishment. Johnson will have to miss 3 games for his part in the brawl, while Diaz was given 7 games. League officials announced their suspensions today. A look at his current stats shows Johnson with a .323 average, 6 home runs, 28 RBIs and 26 runs scored. He has played in 36 games. This season, Diaz has picked up 1 save and posted a 1-0 record with a 4.50 ERA. He has 11 relief appearances, tossed 22 innings and struck out 14. |
