Nephi's Chris Budde Injured Sunday, September 29th , 2041 Nephi starting pitcher Chris Budde suffered a season-ending injury throwing a pitch in today's game against the Pickles. According to club doctors Budde has shoulder inflammation. Although Budde has declined to comment, sources close to the player have stated that he is "devastated" that he will miss the playoffs. To date Budde is 4-6 in 11 starts with a 3.80 ERA and has 55 strikeouts in 71 innings. |
