Coney Dogs Prevail, as Round 1 Goes to the Wire Tuesday, September 24th , 2041 The Flint Coney Dogs and LetterKenny Irish didn't hold back anything in the Round 1, with each team pulling out all the stops in an effort to advance to the Round 2. Flint won the final game by a score of 6-4 at Irish Stadium and that concluded the series, 4-3. "Relief is the biggest thing," Flint first baseman Matt Hinson said when asked how he felt. "It's a grind both mentally and physically to have a long series like this, but our guys stuck with it and LetterKenny deserves credit for the hard fight." Hinson paced the Flint offence and earned MVP honors. For the series, he hit .417 with a .481 on-base percentage, 1 home runs, 5 RBI and scored 3 runs. The Flint Coney Dogs will play against the Kinsale Fisherman in the next round. Kinsale won their series against the Kansas City Kings 4 games to 2.
