Today, the Portland Pickles are the ones feeling overwhelmed with excitement, and the Philadelphia Avalanche are the ones thinking about what they could have done differently. The Pickles took a 5-1 victory at Avalanche Ballpark today, which gave Portland a 4-1 series win. With the win, Portland will advance to play in the Round 2. "We aren't ready to go home yet," said Pickles center fielder Nicolas van Emmerik, who was named series MVP. The Portland Pickles don't know who they will face in the next round.
