Dreadful Season Sees Playoff Hopes Dashed for Ottawa Friday, August 23rd , 2041 Steven Taft said it's going to be "an awfully long offseason" for the Ottawa Lynx after they missed the CBD Triple A playoffs. The club came close, but ultimately ran out of games to secure a postseason spot and were eliminated from contention today. Ottawa last appeared in the postseason in 2039. This is their 2nd consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 16 times in their 24 - year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Lynx have made the playoffs 4 times. |
