Beacons Mathematically Out of Playoffs Saturday, August 10th , 2041 The Tampa Beacons certainly didn't impress many fans this with their play on the field. And now there is no hope of turning a dismal season around -- the team was officially knocked out of playoff contention today. Tampa last appeared in the postseason in 2039. This is their 2nd consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 11 times in their 21 - year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Beacons have made the playoffs 8 times. Tampa last won the Round 3 in 2038. |
