Flint Loses Matt Cox for Season Sunday, July 28th , 2041 The news is bad in Flint. The Coney Dogs have lost the services of reliever Matt Cox for the rest of the season due to a ruptured ulnar collateral ligament. Cox was injured in a recent game with the Kinsale Fisherman while throwing a pitch and is expected to miss 13-14 months. Thus far this season Cox has compiled a 2-1 record, made 18 relief appearances with no saves, hurling 22.2 innings and striking out 28.
