Vance Niec Lost for Season Tuesday, April 30th , 2047 The season is apparently over for Vance Niec. The Flint Coney Dogs medical staff informed the club that the closer will be out at least 12 months with a torn ulnar collateral ligament. Niec was hurt in the game against Portland while throwing a pitch. The doctors did not think he would recover prior to the end of the season. In 10 relief appearances this season, Niec has chalked up 7 saves with 11 strikeouts in 10 innings, 2-0 won-lost mark and a 0.00 earned run average. |
