Player of the Week: Heckman of the Rabbits Monday, June 15th , 2048 Not every ball that came off Eric Heckman's bat last week was a line drive or a towering shot -- it just seemed that way to the teams that played the Thousand Oaks Rabbits. For his exploits, Heckman was named this week's CBD Triple A Player of the Week award. The Thousand Oaks second baseman put up 14 hits in 24 at-bats and no home runs while hitting .583 with 2 RBIs and 3 runs scored.
