Gibbons Whacks 3 Out of the Park for Phoenix Friday, June 12th , 2048 Phoenix second baseman Kyle Gibbons blasted three homers at Blue Raiders Ballpark in the 10-2 Palisades victory over the Kinsale Fisherman. For the game, Kyle Gibbons scored 3 times and knocked in 3 runs. When he hit his last home run, his teammates, hearing the crack of the bat, leaped off the bench and rushed on the field to greet the jubilant Gibbons when he reached home plate. "It was just one game, but it sure was a lot of fun -- 4-for-5, three roundtrippers and a win," a gleeful Gibbons told BNN reporters in a postgame interview. "What a day." Kyle Gibbons singled in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Miguel Tapia in the 4th, flied out in the 6th, hit a solo-shot off Miguel Tapia in the 8th and hit a solo-shot off John Schwichtenberg in the 9th.
