CAAA Selects Peterson April's Top Starter Sunday, May 1st , 2050 In April when the Rochester manager wrote the name "Peterson" on the lineup card, he knew he had a good shot at winning. Start after start in the month, Mike Peterson took the hill, took charge and usually got the win. He dominated with a 4-0 mark and 2.88 ERA in 4 starts. The gifted River Sharks star pitched 25 innings, fanned 20 and held opposing teams to a .320 average. For his outstanding mound performance Peterson was named the CAAA Pitcher of the Month by the baseball writers. |
