3-HR Day for Argueta Wednesday, June 3rd , 2048 Rich Argueta went the distance three times in the Reno-Phoenix tilt at Phoenix Ballpark, but the Copper Kings lost, 9-6. "Gosh, it's a shame we didn't win this game," Argueta said later. For the day, the Reno third baseman went 4-for-4 against Phoenix with 5 RBIs and 3 runs scored in a brilliant display of power hitting. "I was in a groove and every pitch they tossed up there looked like a basketball," he said. "I tell you what, I was surprised because I didn't think the last ball had enough to get out. I thought it was just going to be a long out." Rich Argueta singled in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Hector Gutierrez in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off Hector Gutierrez in the 6th and hit a two-run home run off Hector Gutierrez in the 8th. In the 2048 season Argueta is hitting .264 with 7 home runs. |
