Sarasota Playoff Hopes Officially Zero Sunday, September 15th , 2052 Sarasota baseball fans are feeling forlorn today, as the Sarasota Sweeties have missed out on the playoffs. The team was in the mix late in the season, but ultimately fell short. They were officially eliminated from contention today. Before this season, the Sweeties last missed the playoffs in 2050.
