Estes Park Right Fielder Hurt Saturday, August 17th , 2052 The season is apparently over for Tony Garcia. The Estes Park Elderhorns medical staff informed the club that the right fielder will be out at least 7 months with a ruptured achilles tendon. Garcia was hurt in the game against Rochester while running the bases. The doctors did not think he would recover prior to the end of the season. This year, Garcia is batting .248 with 28 hits and 3 home runs. He has scored 16 times and has batted in 10 runs. |
