CAAA Announces Player of the Week Monday, July 15th , 2052 Memphis fans have something to crow about today as Memphis first baseman Jayden Howard nabbed the CBD Triple A Player of the Week Award for his performance over the last seven days. "I know there are times when it's hard to lay off pitches. Everyone goes through stretches when he's too eager to put the ball in play. You know, though, I feel like this past week I was able to get in the right frame of mind and just let things come naturally," said Howard. He posted a .452 average (14-for-31) this past week with 4 home runs, 11 RBIs, and 4 runs scored. Howard is currently hitting .312 with 13 home runsand 53 RBIs, while scoring 40 runs. |
