5 Hits for Cossacks Archer Thursday, July 11th , 2052 Kyiv center fielder Nate Archer had a day to remember, 5-for-7 against the East Haddam Hyenas at Kyiv Grounds as the Cossacks picked up a win, 12-11. "He was patient up there," Kyiv skipper Boris Lahutin told the press after the game. "I like the way he waited for his pitch and wasn't overly aggressive. Archer has a tendency to chase bad balls sometimes." Nate Archer doubled in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, hit an RBI double in the 5th, struck out in the 7th, singled in the 9th, singled in the 10th and grounded out in the 12th.
