Federation League Selects Best Performer Monday, July 8th , 2052 Dublin fans have something to crow about today as Dublin center fielder Kasey Stephens nabbed the Federation League Player of the Week Award for his performance over the last seven days. "I know there are times when it's hard to lay off pitches. Everyone goes through stretches when he's too eager to put the ball in play. You know, though, I feel like this past week I was able to get in the right frame of mind and just let things come naturally," said Stephens. He posted a .542 average (13-for-24) this past week with no home runs, 5 RBIs, and 1 run scored. Hitting .267 to date, Stephens has 12 home runs and 40 RBIs. He has played in 81 games. |
