Sugar Kings-Super Volcano Fight Nets 3-Game Suspensions Saturday, July 6th , 2052 Havana's Jason Engels and Yellowstone's Ron McAlister have been handed 3-game suspensions for their parts in yesterday's upheaval at Volcano Ballpark. The teams were notified today that the suspensions would go into effect immediately. According to the league commissioner Engels and McAlister provoked and incited the brawl and bore the blame for what transpired. Engels is hitting .317 this year with 19 home runs, 63 RBIs and 49 runs scored. He has 92 hits in 290 at-bats, 37 walks and a .405 on-base percentage. Engels has played in 78 games. This season, McAlister has no saves in 13 relief appearances with a 0-0 record and 8.88 ERA. |
