St. Louis's Albert Salgado Suffers Setback Tuesday, October 10th , 2051 St. Louis Archies left fielder Albert Salgado got another setback today. His doctors informed him that his injury was not responding to treatment as well as they hoped and that he would need more time to rehabilitate. If all goes well, they expect Salgado to be ready to go within 1-2 weeks. He told BNN, "I didn't expect a sprained ankle to take this long to heal." This year, Salgado has socked 190 hits in 569 at-bats for a .334 average with 13 home runs. He is getting on base at a .368 pace and his totals also include 69 RBIs and 85 runs scored. |
