Pizzas Crowned Kings of the Alliance League Boneheads Division Tuesday, October 10th , 2051 For the 12th time in franchise history, the Detroit Pizzas are champions of the Alliance League Boneheads Division. It was all triumphant shouts and high-fives in the Detroit clubhouse when the clinch became official, with much optimism about the club's chances in the playoffs. "From the start of spring training this is where you envision yourself being," said right fielder Jose Caravaggio. "Playing for a chance to win the World Series is what it's all about and we think we're going to get it done." The club currently has a 81-76 and will be looking to capture the 4th World Series championship in franchise history. |
