Big Bang! 3 HR for Detroit's Naylor Tuesday, October 5th , 2049 The "hardest feat in sports" debate is a never-ending one with no correct answer, but hitting three home runs is certainly in the conversation. That's exactly what Jay Naylor did at Pizzas Ballpark, going deep three times and carrying his team to victory, 9-5. "It all came together. I was seeing the ball well and I got some good pitches to hit," Naylor said. "Good things happen, when that happens." The Detroit Pizzas first baseman blistered the Hanoi Dragon Warriors for 3 hits, batted in 5 runs and scored 3 times. "It ain't like we weren't trying," Hanoi manager GM Schnee said. "He was hot and really torched my boys today." Jay Naylor grounded out in the 2nd, hit a three-run home run off Tony Ramos in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Jamie Conway in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off Chris Gills in the 8th. Currently Naylor is batting .280 with 16 home runs and 95 RBIs. |
