Hugo Cabrera Wins 2049 FL Batting Title Monday, October 4th , 2049 It took a .346 batting average to win the 2049 Federation League batting title. Sudbury Blueberry Bulldogs first baseman Hugo Cabrera said he's worked hard for each and every one of his 161 hits. "The season was a grind, but things worked out well for me," he said. "It's not easy to always be looking behind you to see who is coming up the leaderboard." When all was said and done, the 28-year-old also had 36 doubles, no triples and 27 home runs for the year. In 116 games Cabrera totaled 78 RBIs and scored 93 runs. |
