Kyiv Out of Playoff Race Sunday, September 26th , 2049 Fans in Kyiv may been holding onto a glimmer of hope, but that has now been officially snuffed out -- the Cossacks were mathematically eliminated from playoff contention today. "It's a tough day for everyone in the Kyiv Cossacks organization," owner Mike Safko told reporters. "We will just have to come back stronger." This is the club's 2nd playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 2047. In total, the Cossacks have missed the playoffs 18 times in their 32-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Cossacks have made the playoffs 4 times. |
