Spradley Out of Action, Listed DTD Thursday, September 23rd , 2049 It's a long season and everyone picks up some cuts and bruises along the way. The latest star to be suffering this year is Luke Spradley of the Portland Beavers, who suffered blurred vision while being hit by a pitch in yesterday's contest against Yellowstone. While he could play through the injury, it's unclear whether or not the Portland organization will risk that or simply sit him out for the one week the injury is expected to last. So far this season, Spradley has gotten 171 hits in 538 at-bats for a .318 batting average with 38 home runs. His stats include 98 RBIs and 102 runs scored. He has played in 145 games. |
