Freeland Puts Up Rookie of Year Numbers Saturday, December 14th , 2047 They say first impressions are lasting impressions. If this is true, Federation League hitters had better be wary -- Josh Freeland could be around for years to come. The Sudbury starter took home the 2047 FL Rookie of the Year Award today. Freeland fashioned a 15-7 mark in 31 starts. He threw 197.2 innings, collected 211 strikeouts and put up a 3.92 ERA. Rod Garcia of the Kyiv Cossacks finished second in voting, while Kenichi Kanzaki of the Saskatchewan 92's finished third. |
