2047 Top Player Honored By AL Saturday, December 14th , 2047 Esteban Gonzalez took The Confederation of Baseball Dunces by storm this year, and he did it all at the age of 26. For his spectacular campaign, the Brooklyn Knights star has been named the 2047 Alliance League Most Valuable Player Award recipient. "To be considered amongst the best in the league is overwhelming," said the right fielder. On the season he compiled a .359 batting average to go with a .431 on-base percentage. The native of Mission Viejo, California also added 56 doubles, 4 triples, 54 home runs, 123 RBIs and 134 runs scored. Jason Engels of the Havana Sugar Kings finished second in voting, while Chris Adams of the Detroit Pizzas finished third. |
