Setback for Archies and Aaron Kaplan Saturday, September 16th , 2051 St. Louis right fielder Aaron Kaplan reportedly suffered a setback this week while rehabilitating a sprained thumb. Preliminary tests showed the injury had gotten worse and would need more time to be completely healed. An unidentified team official said it looked like it would be at least one week before Kaplan would be able to return to the active roster. Kaplan will see a specialist tomorrow. So far this season, Kaplan has put up a .263 batting average with 84 hits, 12 home runs and 41 RBIs. |
