Player of the Week Trophy to Engels Monday, September 13th , 2049 When it came to hitting the baseball, Jason Engels was in a class by himself in the Alliance League this past week. Nobody did it better. The outstanding right fielder for Havana tagged opposing pitchers for a .462 average and was voted the Player of the Week Award. Included in his stats were 12 hits in 26 at-bats, 4 homers, 8 runs scored and 12 RBIs. Hitting .357 to date, Engels has 34 home runs and 109 RBIs. He has played in 129 games. |
