Star of the Week Awarded in FL Monday, September 6th , 2049 23-year-old Kasey Stephens sent shock waves through The Confederation of Baseball Dunces last week with an eye-popping performance that brought him the Federation League Player of the Week Award. A newcomer to the league, Stephens made the establishment sit up and take notice, punishing opposing pitchers with a .524 average, 11 hits in 21 at-bats, 3 home runs and 12 runs batted in. Where the Dublin Porters center fielder goes from here, only the baseball gods know for sure, but Stephens certainly made his mark last week. Thus far in 2049, Stephens is hitting .309 with 15 home runs, 59 RBIs, 53 runs scored and has compiled a .363 OBP. |
