Nicotra Hits in 20 Consecutive Games Wednesday, September 1st , 2049 The hitting streak for Arizona first baseman Chris Nicotra now stands at 20 games, but the Desert Storm dropped today's contest 6-4 to the Detroit Pizzas. Nicotra went 1-for-4 in the game. "Things went well for me personally," he said. "I got 1 hit and the streak keeps going. But we didn't win the game." Chris Nicotra grounded out in the 1st, grounded out in the 4th, flied out in the 6th and hit an RBI single in the 8th. So far this year, Nicotra is batting .311 with 53 home runs, 135 RBIs and 100 runs scored. |
