Radford Chosen #1 Player Monday, September 4th , 2051 Osaka Takoyaki catcher Mark Radford walked away with the Federation League Player of the Week Award today after putting up some impressive numbers over the past seven days. "The Takoyaki fans are really behind me right now," said the 26-year-old. "That helps. They give you the confidence to go out there and do better." Radford batted .611 (11-for-18) with 3 home runs and 5 RBIs this week on his way to the award. This year, Radford has hit at a .290 clip with 113 hits, 23 home runs, 73 RBIs and 60 runs scored. |
