The 24-year-old hurler piled up 4 wins and no losses for the Desert Storm last month and won the Federation League Pitcher of the Month award for his efforts. Spencer stymied opposing batters on 26 base hits and a .166 batting average. He rang up 53 strikeouts in 46.1 innings of work, surrendered 10 walks and fashioned a sparkling 0.58 ERA. This year, Spencer has recorded a 15-7 mark. In 27 starts he has fanned 180 batters in 191 innings with a 2.83 ERA. |
