Super Month Nets Nicotra #1 Batter Prize in FL Wednesday, September 1st , 2049 In the last year of his deal with Arizona, Chris Nicotra has created some waves by winning August's Federation League Batter of the Month title today. He put up a solid .376 batting average with 14 home runs, 37 RBIs and 28 runs scored. He also worked FL pitchers for 14 walks and a .456 on-base percentage. If he keeps churning out numbers like these, the 30-year-old is sure to draw some attention when contract time rolls around.
